Senior Biostatistician
FLUIDDA is a leader in the development and implementation of quantitative CT technology in pulmonary research and drug development. Our technology is widely used in clinical trials of novel therapeutics for a range of chronic lung diseases as a source of imaging biomarkers and endpoints. We partner with both industry and academia to advance understanding of lung health and disease.
We are seeking to hire a Senior Biostatistician to support the design, analysis, and reporting of a diverse range of clinical and development projects, including clinical trials, cohort studies, and the validation of novel endpoints and biomarkers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and report on new and ongoing clinical trials undertaken with both sponsors and clinical/research centers using Fluidda technology.
- Contribute to final clinical study reports and provide statistical interpretations of results
- Review and prepare statistical sections of study protocols.
- Perform sample size calculations for clinical studies.
- Continue the development of standard statistical procedures appropriate for Fluidda’s technology and analyses and educate others in their implementation
- Work with Fluidda engineers and designers to produce data visualizations to support both commercial and research projects
- Develop detailed statistical analysis plans in a range of clinical research contexts
- Provide input into development strategy for Fluidda endpoints to support use as clinical trial endpoints, biomarker, prognostic/diagnostic/screening/risk stratification tool in clinic, and perform associated statistical analyses.
- Engage critically and creatively with Fluidda’s technology and the field(s) of research of which we are a part.
- Create and maintain clinical trial databases for clinical trials
- Develop detailed data transfer specification (DTS) documents
Preferred attributes
- Proficiency in SAS
- Experience and familiarity with machine learning and high-dimensional data analysis methods a plus
- Familiarity with graph data science
- Familiarity with data structures and harmonization guidelines used in human/nonhuman research (e.g. CDISC, SDTM)
