The European Respiratory Journal published a study (ERJ, impact factor 16.67) looking at the pulmonary blood volume distribution of COVID-19 subjects using FRI-technology.
A retrospective analysis of chest CT scans from 10 hospitals across two states was assessed. In total, 313 COVID-19 positive and 195 COVID-19 negative patients seeking acute medical care were examined. From the analysis, the peripheral pulmonary blood volumes (expressed as BV5%) were predictive of adverse outcomes in patients with COVID-19 seeking acute medical care.
Fluidda is proud to announce its work is now present on the Digital Cover of the European Respiratory Journal.
